Many of our clients come to us with deeply personal reasons for their unhappiness with their weight and body shape. The effect these complex emotions have on our relationships and confidence can be profound. An uncertainty of the correct approach and limited knowledge can make it extremely difficult to break long established, poor habits and particularly when fat loss is the goal, desperation often leads to severely restrictive diets. This unsustainable approach doesn’t end well. Isolated from social circles and devoid of the pleasure food brings, hormones are negatively effected and any weight loss is temporary. Poor relationships with food are developed and much sadness follows.
